Why did the wrong teams win?

As I was bar hopping last evening, I couldn't help but to be mesmerized by the sporting evenings that were on last night. Now before I get into the results I do have to ponder why it is that restaurants feel the need to show the same game in digital, HDTV, and Analog. With each technology there seems to be a delay thus causing the game in some parts to be shown 3-5 seconds after a play happened. I seem to recall going to an unnamed Steelers bar a couple of years ago to have half the bar cheer or curse at the result of the play while the other half wondered what just happened or know the results of what just happened before it actually occurred (the only time that is convenientis when one is gambling). Imagine now watching the game in the same manner where two TVs are right next to each, Talk about making yourself dizzy. My suggestions to establishment owners… please just show the game in one speed. It is extremely irritating.

While everyone was watching the Patriots vs Giants game I couldn’t help, but to notice two other sports events on other TVs; the Penn State football game and the Pitt basketball game. Needless to say in each game I watched the team I was cheering for lost. There is nothing more irritating than to watch the Patriots, the cockiest and conceited team in the NFL, not only win, but to watch them celebrate a perfect regular season. I have hated the Pats since my college days in Rhode Island and have now watched them form a dynasty. As much as I would love for it to be exposed that they were engaged in spy gate since at least the 2000 season, it is hard for me to believe that this season it continued after being caught. On another note it was tough to see Pitt lose, their worst loss in 8 years, to Dayton. I was also irritating to watch the “ancient one” JoePa win in his bowl game.

On another note I am still looking for wedding song suggestions. I am currently on Clapton, but am also I am currently looking for mother/son dances. In the current “Iowa Caucus” stage of this endeavor I have the Louis Armstrong's "What a wonderful", Carpenters’ “Close to you”, Rod Stewart’s “Have I told you lately, Gloria Lynne (or Sinatra’s version) of “I wish you love”, Nat King Cole’s “Unforgettable”, and Celine Dion’s “Because you loved me” on the list. There are still several others who will be throwing their hats into the ring. Please provide some suggestions. Oh and FYI if you search for songs you can usually find some rendition of this song on Youtube.com. If you know of any other places to get free downloaded music or to just listen to a track, for free, please let me know.
