Steriods in baseball...

The Mitchell report was published yesterday and it was not so shocking to see so many names. I was suprised by a handful of names. Others I had never heard of. That said I do have 3 questions regarding the widespread steriod use.

1. With so many Yankees taking steriods, does this taint their accomplishments?

2. While several former Pirates players used steriods, only 2 players who used steriods did so with the Pirates, Tim Laker and Kevin Young. Neither were worthy of hall of fame. Kevin Young may have had 1 all-star year, but was mostly an inadequate starting baseball player. He was at best a platoon player. As for Tim Laker. I did not know who he was. I would never have identified him as a major league player much less a Pirate. With those statements made, does this explain why the Pirates have sucked for so long? Maybe if they were juiced they would have had a winning season.

3. How is it that so many Baltimore Orioles were juiced up, yet they continued to lose? If it was not for the Pirates the O's would have the most consecutive losing seasons in the bigs.
